Shaira Khemlani, originally from Miami, Florida, began her training in dance at the age of six. Her fondness for the art allowed her to experiment in styles ranging from classical Indian to contemporary. Having trained in Bharatanatyam for 11 years under the guidance of Srimati Harija Shivakumar, Shaira completed her Arangetram in 2006. Throughout her dance career, Shaira performed at illustrious venues including an appearance on Good Morning America, the Orange Bowl halftime show and alongside choreographer, Cris Judd.
Now residing in New York City, balancing a professional career at LinkedIn, dance remains a passion and commitment in Shaira's life. She is now a member of the Sa Dance Company and a fitness instructor for Doonya.Back to previous page
